The 13th International Conference on Language, Communication & Society (LCS2026) hosted at the Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit abstracts and papers on “Language, Identity, and Power in a Digitally Connected World.” This interdisciplinary conference explores the influence of digital platforms, AI, globalization, and migration on language and society, providing a platform for original research, published articles, dissertations, and research abstracts. Participants can present in person, engage in keynote lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, and connect with leading academics worldwide. Abstract submissions are open until 30th May 2026, making this an exceptional opportunity for global scholars to share insights and contribute to discussions on language, identity, and power.

SUBMISSION TYPES
We welcome submissions in the following categories:

Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Manuscripts should be written in English.
- Abstract: Include: title, author(s), affiliation(s), email, abstract (200–250 words), and 4–6 keywords.
- Papers: Length:
- Full papers: 4,000–6,000 words
- Short papers / briefs: 2,000–3,000 words
- Follow APA (7th ed.) referencing style.
Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and may be considered for publication in a partner journal or edited volume.

Notification of acceptance: Within 7 working days
Full paper submission deadline: 30 June 2026
Conference dates: 13-14 July 2026
**Early submission is encouraged. The duration of the visa process varies for country to country. It is therefore strongly advised to start your application as soon as possible.


Presentation Format
Authors of accepted submissions will present onsite or virtually. Sessions will emphasize dialogue, practical insights, and actionable outcomes, including recommendations for policy, education, industry, and community engagement.
